Reach surfers with purchase intent
Connect with surfers actively searching for specific boards, constructions, and dimensions rather than broad lifestyle browsing.
Retailer partnership
Helping surfers find the boards they are already looking for.
Quivrr started because I could not find the surfboard I wanted anywhere online. I was jumping between surf shops, manufacturer websites, and listings trying to locate one specific board.
As a software engineer, I built tools to solve my own problem. Very quickly, it became obvious the problem was bigger than one board and one surfer.
Surfboards are spread across independent surf shops, manufacturer sites, and regional retailers. There is always a board sitting quietly on a rack somewhere that somebody would genuinely want if they knew it existed.
Independent surf shops should not miss that sale simply because their inventory cannot be discovered. Quivrr exists to connect surfers with boards, and boards with surfers.
The aim is simple: help surfers search one place instead of checking dozens of sites, make it easier for a retailer's stock to be found, and help the surf industry make better use of the boards already sitting in racks.
Connect with surfers actively searching for specific boards, constructions, and dimensions rather than broad lifestyle browsing.
Make it easier for customers to discover boards that might otherwise sit unseen on a rack or deep in a category page.
Local surf shops are a core part of surf culture, and Quivrr is being built to help those shops be found.
That board sitting in the corner can be exactly what someone is already looking for if the search path is clear enough.
As Quivrr expands across more regions, participating retailers become part of a broader surfboard discovery network.
We are prioritising shops with strong live surfboard inventory, usable dimensions, clear product pages, and regional relevance.
Second-hand boards are in scope when the listing quality is clear enough to help a surfer understand what is actually available.
We are not prioritising rentals, lessons, repairs, accessories, or dealer-locator pages with no meaningful online board stock.
